The aim of our group is to create a space where the community has a voice, can grow and people can work together to make a difference

Thaxton is a small village based in Lisburn, our village is relatively new, having been established in 2010 and over the years has grown and now has around 600 homes. We have a lovely village and we are immensely proud of our community and the people and great neighbours in it.
The Thaxton Community Group was established in 2024 by a group of local residents who want to make a positive contribution to the village.
